Born from a memorable Italian holiday, our client’s vision for the Cielo project was to infuse their home with the tranquility and elegance of the Italian sky, hence naming it “Cielo” — Italian for “Sky.” This vision aimed to transform their living space into a serene reflection of Italy’s vast skies, blending the essence of their journey with everyday life.

Following the inspirational inception of the Cielo project, Studio Gaxa embarked on an interior design journey that artfully weaves the serene and majestic palette of the sky into the fabric of the client’s home. Embracing hues of blues and greys, the design incorporates materials like marble and carefully selected paint colours to reflect the sky’s essence as seen in Italy. A pivotal element of the design was reimagining the bedroom’s walk-in robe (WIR), redesigned to enhance storage without detracting from the space’s visual appeal. 

In realising this vision, Studio Gaxa applied a detailed-oriented approach, meticulously selecting every design element to align with the sky-inspired theme. Integration of custom cabinetry provided elegant and practical storage solutions, while the choice of materials was deliberately aligned with the intended colour scheme. This careful consideration in design not only fulfilled the client’s functional needs but also successfully encapsulated the tranquil ambience of the Italian sky, striking an ideal balance between practicality and aesthetic allure.
