The Luna Pool project commenced when the clients approached the project management division of GAXA for the execution of their pool construction. Having secured a development application in 2017, they sought Studio Gaxa’s design expertise to oversee the seamless integration of the new pool build with an upgrade of the exterior landscape and surroundings. Situated at the edge of a nature reserve, the property boasts a backdrop that impeccably complements the envisioned pool area, ensuring a harmonious visual connection between the man-made structure and the surrounding natural elements.
The project encompassed a comprehensive redesign, extending from the driveway through to the open entertaining space at the rear of the home. It was crucial that the design not only met the clients’ aesthetic and functional desires but also harmonised with the natural surroundings. Studio Gaxa meticulously selected lighting to set a serene atmosphere, enhancing the pool and outdoor area’s usability across all times of the day and night.
Studio Gaxa selected exquisite limestone Luna pavers that feature shades of grey, blue, and a crystal metallic finish, echoing the home’s exterior colour scheme. This choice was complemented by white fencing, lighting, and trim details, with a deep blue and green mosaic tile serving as the pool’s focal point. The selected colour palette mirrors the lush greenery of the property, creating a cohesive and inviting outdoor space.
The Luna Pool project by Studio Gaxa seamlessly blends a newly constructed pool with its natural surroundings at the edge of a nature reserve. This endeavour showcases meticulous design and planning, transforming the client’s vision into a tranquil outdoor oasis that enhances the property’s overall charm.
